Perpetuals

The Perpetual section under the History tab provides an organized view of your perpetual trading activities. It allows users to analyze closed positions, track trade history, and assess the profitability of their leveraged trades. The section is divided into two key tabs: Closed Positions and Trade History, offering a detailed record of different trading aspects.


1. Closed Positions Tab

This tab provides a summary of all closed perpetual trades, enabling users to evaluate their past performance.

Features:

  • Contract:

    • Displays the trading pair for each contract (e.g., BTC/USDT, SOL/USDT).

    • Helps users identify the specific market where the trade occurred.

  • Volume:

    • Indicates the total dollar value of the position at the time of entry.

  • Quantity:

    • Shows the number of units of the base asset involved in the trade.

  • Entry Price:

    • The price at which the position was opened.

    • Helps users compare the opening and closing prices to evaluate profit or loss.

  • Exit Price:

    • The price at which the position was closed.

    • Essential for calculating realized gains or losses.

  • Trade Type:

    • Indicates whether the trade was a Closed Long (profit or loss on an upward bet) or Closed Short (profit or loss on a downward bet).

  • +/−:

    • Reflects the net profit or loss from the trade.

    • Positive values are highlighted in green, while negative values are shown in red.

  • Exit Type:

    • Describes the method used to exit the position, such as Trade (manual closure) or other strategies like stop-loss.

  • Open At & Trade Time:

    • Open At: The timestamp of when the position was opened.

    • Trade Time: The timestamp of when the position was closed.

    • These timestamps help users understand the duration of each trade.


2. Trade History Tab

This tab focuses on the individual trades executed within perpetual contracts, providing granular details of trading activity.

Features:

  • Date:

    • Displays the exact date and time of the trade execution.

  • Contract:

    • Identifies the trading pair involved in the transaction (e.g., BTC/USDT).

  • Side:

    • Indicates whether the trade was a Buy (long position) or Sell (short position).

    • Color-coded for easier visual identification (green for Buy, red for Sell).

  • Price:

    • The execution price of the trade.

  • Quantity:

    • Shows the amount of the base asset involved in the transaction.

  • Volume:

    • Displays the trade volume in dollar value, calculated as Price × Quantity.
